Tesco Redevelopment public exhibition 8 May

Letter from Berkeley Homes

“Dear stakeholder,

I am writing to inform you of our public exhibition of plans for 275 Kennington Lane.

These proposals are part of the Oval and Kennington Development Area (OAKDA) Masterplan. With a change in modern shopping habits, particularly in urban areas, large supermarkets with a large quantity of parking provision are no longer deemed fit for purpose. Tesco have therefore taken the opportunity to review the use of their superstore in Kennington.

Berkeley Homes have worked with Tesco to produce a comprehensive set of proposals which aim to deliver a new modern Tesco store, over 570 new homes of which 35% will be affordable and over 30,500 sq ft of additional commercial space.

There will be a public exhibition of the proposals at the following time and venue:

THE KIA OVAL, SURREY COUNTY CRICKET CLUB, KENNINGTON, LONDON SE11 5SS

Tuesday 8th May – The Pakistan Room

between 16:00 and 20:00

and

Wednesday 9th May – The India Room

between 16:00 – 20:00.

Kind regards,

Erin
