1) Inclusion Co-ordinator
We need an enthusiastic and motivated Inclusion Co-Ordinator who can develop a new model of an Inclusion Project that can run alongside and support the current play project. The Inclusion Project provides extra support to enable all disabled children and young people to access the play project. This role will involve managing a small team of inclusive playworkers to deliver after school and holiday play provision for the local community. This role will also involve developing the inclusive sports element of our project.
Working hours– Wed-Fri 2-7:30pm in term time. Monday-Friday 10am-5pm in all school holidays. Salary– £18,000 per year plus annual leave
Lollard Street Adventure Playground is looking for a caretaker who can be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the site. This is a new role so elements of this role will be worked around the suitable candidate. There will be weekly set hours of cleaning as well as some time for grounds maintenance, gardening, repair work and site supervision. We would require someone who can report back on the condition of the site and form effective plans to maintain a good standard of site. The project is at a stage where it will be developing its buildings so the role will develop in the next year.
Suitable candidates must have good practical skills, experience in cleaning properties to a high standard, gardening knowledge and be able to make efficient plans to keep the site up to the health and safety standard required.
Working Hours– contracted 5-8 hours a week in term time, 10 hours a week in all school holidays. Salary– £10/hour plus annual leave
3) Sessional Playworker
We are looking for a passionate and experienced sessional Playworker to be added to our pool of workers, to help run and develop the play sessions. You will help to provide cover for staff as and when its needed.The role will involve hands-on delivery of sessions, sourcing resources and loose parts, promotion, community engagement and relevant paperwork. We are looking for someone who understands the benefits of free play, can work in all weathers, doesn’t mind getting messy, can think creatively and has a passion for developing play opportunities for children.
Working hours– Wed-Fri 3-7:30pm in term time. Monday-Friday 10am-5pm in all school holidays. Salary– £11.50/hour
