Have a look at this:
London’s parks are at risk. There’s no legal responsibility to look after them and squeezed budgets mean our local green spaces – from playgrounds to the parks we use for winter walks – don’t have the money they need. We could end up being forced to pay to use our parks – or lose them altogether.
A group of politicians in London are looking into the problem right now. They’re weighing up whether they should make protecting parks a priority. Hearing from thousands of us who use London’s green spaces everyday could push them to come up with a bold plan to protect them.
So please can you tell our city’s politicians to do everything they can to protect London’s parks? It’ll only take a few minutes, and there are some suggestions of what to say.
