Why the bus station should not be knocked down

One local transport user’s view:

“If you’ve ever crossed the Thames to ‘sarf’ London, driven past, visited or used Vauxhall bus station on the way to the Aldebert Hotel (aka our house), or even St Thomas’ Hospital, you may be aware that the bus station is one of the best things that has happened locally in years – we can catch and change buses/ tube/ train easily in all weathers, it’s easy and social, and locals have even grown to love the solar panelled ‘ski-jump’.

Less than 10 years after it was built, Lambeth are trying to knock it down and squeeze the general public onto an area half the size, after a number of totally biased consultations. If you would be so kind as to visit this page, you will find more links and information and may even be tempted to sign the petition, http://www.vauxhallcivicsociety.org.uk/2015/10/attention-everybody-who-signed-the-vauxhall-societys-save-vauxhall-bus-station-online-all-2000-plus-of-you/
