Update from OAKDA Team:“Thank you for your continued interest in the Oval and Kennington Development Area (OAKDA) Masterplan. You will have received communications from OAKDA in June regarding a delay to the public consultation of the draft OAKDA masterplan, this did anticipate a consultation start date in September. Unfortunately, it is necessary for us to postpone the consultation further, we now expect the 6-week exhibition period to begin in October.
We are very close to finalising the draft masterplan material. This will include a comprehensive suite of documents which will be available during the 6-week consultation in addition to convenient summary panels, a permanent exhibition, drop-in sessions and presentation evenings. We are in the process of refining this material for clarity and ease of reading, as requested by Lambeth Council. This will ensure the documents provide the necessary evidence for the community and the Council to consider removal of the Key Industry and Business Area (KIBA) designation among other key policy matters.
We are sorry for any inconvenience the delay may cause. We remain committed to a robust consultation of the draft masterplan, we look forward to sharing our plans with you and hearing your thoughts. If you have any questions or wish to get in touch with the team in the meantime, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0208 7866130.”
